All About iPhone X
Apple iPhone X was launched on 12th September 2017. The phone comes with a 5.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1125×2436 pixels. It measures 143.6 x 70.9 x 7.7 mm and weighs 174 grams.
The Apple iPhone X is powered by Hexa-core Apple A11 Bionic SoC. The phone is offered in 64GB and 256GB storage variants. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Apple iPhone X packs a 12-megapixel Dual-camera system on the rear and a 7-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The camera is similar to that found on the iPhone 7 Plus and the camera system has been put vertically this time. Though, there are some minor software tweaks to enhance the camera performance.
The Apple iPhone X is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC and 4G. Sensors on the phone include a Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and Barometer. The Apple iPhone X runs iOS 11.
Talking about our opinions on this device, the iPhone X has a really good potential to stand in the market though it costs a hefty price of $999. Apple has a great integration on the iPhone when it comes to AR. Also, the A11 Bionic SoC has given some crazy benchmark scores so performance on the iPhone will be an issue, and not to forget about the beautiful Bezel-less display.
Now talking about the shortcomings, Apple has removed the home button on the iPhone which also means the removal of the fingerprint scanner. In place of the fingerprint scanner, Apple’s Face recognition technology ‘Face ID’ will be used to unlock the device. We’ll have to see how that works out in the future. Nevertheless, the iPhone X is a great device and is Apple’s biggest step in the Bezel-less world of smartphones.
